Ausgrid Newcastle HQ | Fire Safety for a Landmark Sustainable Fitout

Custom fire protection delivered in a CLT workplace designed for innovation and wellbeing

The Ausgrid Newcastle HQ fitout is now complete. This project was successfully managed by SHAPE Australia, in collaboration with 4PM Projects, Studio P3, Aston Consulting, Cundall, and other project partners.

The impressive workspace spans four floors within a newly constructed CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber) building in the heart of Newcastle's CBD. Designed to achieve a 6 Star Green Star rating, the facility reflects Ausgrid's ongoing commitment to sustainability and innovation.

Supporting up to 350 employees, the space includes flexible meeting areas, breakout spaces, and a multifunctional town hall designed to accommodate contemporary work practices.

Force Fire collaborated closely with the project team to deliver custom fire safety systems tailored to integrate seamlessly with the bespoke fitout and CLT construction.
