Located within the landmark 33 Alfred Street redevelopment in Sydney’s Circular Quay, BlackRock’s new Sydney office is a premium three-level workplace that combines contemporary workplace design with the heritage character of one of the CBD’s most significant buildings.
Force Fire was engaged to deliver the fire protection systems for the high-end commercial fit-out, integrating fire safety and compliance requirements throughout the three-level workplace while working within the existing heritage environment.
The project required careful coordination of fire protection systems with the architectural finishes, building services and detailed workplace design. Force Fire worked closely with MPA and the wider project team to ensure the fire systems were seamlessly integrated without compromising the functionality or design intent of the new office.
The completed fit-out demonstrates the importance of well-coordinated fire protection and life safety systems within premium commercial workplaces, delivering a compliant and reliable solution that supports the safety, performance and ongoing operation of the space.
