The Macintyre Wind Farm is Australia’s largest wind energy project, featuring 162 turbines and supporting the nation’s renewable energy transition. Engaged by Nordex under principal contractor Acciona, Force Fire was contracted to engineer and install a compliant fire protection system integrated with the existing foreign fire infrastructure.
Our scope included the delivery of a certified fire solution that met all relevant Queensland fire safety regulations. The project was delivered over an 18-month period and required alignment with mining-style health, safety, and environmental compliance protocols across all personnel and plant.
Force Fire’s integrated solution ensured system compatibility, certification, and long-term maintainability for one of Australia’s most significant utility-scale renewable energy projects.
