Scope of Work:

The project involved the adaptive reuse of the southern portion of 9 Wally’s Walk and the construction of a new six-storey building at 7 Wally’s Walk, forming part of the Macquarie University School of Engineering. The new facility spans more than 13,000 square metres and includes learning labs, research spaces, workshops, and specialist testing areas.

The fire protection package included the supply and installation of a combined hydrant system, pre-action system, gas suppression system, hose reel system, and portable fire extinguishers. Systems were designed and delivered to meet the specific requirements of high-risk laboratory and research spaces, ensuring compliance and occupant safety across diverse usage areas within the facility.
