THE GARDEN GALLERY

Client: Renascent
Location: Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney NSW
Market: Commercial
Capabilities: Design, supply and install Combined Fire Sprinkler / Hydrant, Detection and EWIS Systems for heritage and adaptive reuse projects

Scope of Work:
The redevelopment transformed Sydney’s Robert Brown Building within the Royal Botanic Garden into The Garden Gallery, a vibrant hub for science, education, and public engagement. Originally housing the NSW Herbarium’s 1.4 million plant specimens, the building was repurposed to include flexible office spaces, multi-use zones, and a central gallery showcasing contemporary plant-life art.

Force Fire collaborated from early planning stages to deliver fire protection systems tailored to the building’s heritage features and new functions, ensuring compliance and safety while preserving historical significance.

This project demonstrates Force Fire’s expertise in high-performance fire safety for heritage and cultural developments.
