Stage One of the new TRIP (Thrive, Refresh, Invigorate, Pause) end-of-trip facility at International Towers Sydney has been completed, delivering almost 1,900sqm of premium amenities beneath the fully operational Barangaroo precinct.
Located below three occupied commercial towers, the redevelopment presented significant logistical and coordination challenges. Force Fire was engaged to integrate fire protection systems within the complex underground environment while ensuring the works could be delivered without disrupting the thousands of people who use the precinct every day.
Force Fire’s scope focused on the integration of fire protection systems throughout the new end-of-trip facility, supporting the project's life safety and fire safety compliance requirements while coordinating closely with the broader construction team and existing building operations.
Delivered in collaboration with Renascent Australia, the project demonstrates the importance of careful planning and coordination when installing fire protection systems within complex, operational commercial environments.
With Stage Two now underway, the TRIP facility will continue to expand the premium workplace amenities available beneath one of Sydney’s busiest commercial precincts.
