WALSH BAY PIERS 2/3 + 4/5

Client: Richard Crooks Construction
Location: Walsh Bay
Market: Commercial - Civic and Sports
Capabilities: Design Supply and install Fire Sprinkler, Hydrant, Detection and EWIS Systems

Scope of Work:

The Walsh Bay Arts Precinct redevelopment revitalised Sydney’s historic waterfront piers into a world-class cultural and performance hub, blending heritage conservation with modern functionality. Appointed by Richard Crookes Construction, Force Fire was tasked with delivering an integrated fire protection solution tailored to the unique demands of this landmark civic project.

Our scope included the design, supply, and installation of fire sprinkler and hydrant systems, as well as advanced detection and EWIS systems, across the refurbished Piers 2/3 and 4/5. Operating within a heritage-listed environment required precision planning, adaptive installation methods, and close collaboration with preservation specialists to retain structural integrity while meeting contemporary safety standards. The result is a compliant and unobtrusive fire protection system that supports the ongoing safety of patrons, performers, and staff within this iconic cultural precinct.
